|Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high
intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful
execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
The Process :
I make knives by the stock removal method. Steels I use include CPM154,
D2, and various Damascus. I cut my designs with a band saw, then shape
with a 2x72" Burr King Grinder. I hollow grind, and flat grind depending on
customer request and what I think will look and work the best for a particular
I like making traditional style hunters, skinners, and utility knives. I also make
bowie knives, dress knives, tactical, fighters, Kitchen Cutlery, camp knives,
and special customer requests. If you have something in mind feel free to
contact me and we can work on a design that will suit your needs.
My Guarantee :
I guarantee all my knives against defects in metal, or workmanship for life. If it is
being used as a cutting tool it is covered. A knife is not a hammer, nor is it a
screwdriver. You can also send them back to me from time to time and I will clean
them up and resharpen them so they are ready for another season. Guarantee will
exclude some "Natural handle materials" as these have the risk of decaying over time.
All "Natural" materials are stabilized by me in my shop. It takes longer then normal
however I have found that I get the best quality having done it this way for almost 5
